Project overview
Create a visually calming, modern packaging system with nature-inspired elements that communicates quality, reduced sugar, and family appeal at first glance.
CalmLife began as a brief to modernize legacy dairy packaging while preserving a warm, authentic connection to alpine origin: fresh pastures, small farms, and straightforward nutrition. I developed a bottle layout that balances bold typography and friendly mascot illustration with clear callouts for nutritional benefits. The design uses layered forms and a warm chocolate palette to read well at both thumbnail and shelf scale.
Work included concept sketches, multiple label iterations for production, color studies for matte vs. gloss finishes, and construction proofing to ensure artwork behaved across different bottle heights. Iconography and nutrition badges were optimized for legibility from 1–2 meters, and pattern elements were created to wrap seamlessly around the container.
